Father Michael Mescher will retire from active ministry for health reasons after serving as Pastor of St. Michael parish in Belle Plaine, St. Joseph parish in Chelsea, and St. Patrick parish in Tama (effective 16 July 2019)

Ms. Susan Schettler will retire after serving as Parish Life Coordinator of St. John the Baptist parish in Mt. Vernon and St. Isidore parish in Springville

Father Dwayne Thoman will retire from active ministry after serving as Pastor of Holy Spirit parish in Dubuque

Father Dennis Cain will retire from active ministry early for health rea-sons after serving as Pastor of Notre Dame parish in Cresco

Father Steven Garner will be re-assigned as Pastor of Holy Spirit parish in Dubuque, after serving as Pastor of St. Matthew parish in Cedar Rapids

Father Donald Czapla will be re-assigned as Pastor of St. Matthew parish in Cedar Rapids, after serving as Pastor of St. Henry parish in Marshalltown

Father Alan Dietzenbach will be the first Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi parish in Marshalltown, formed from the merger of St. Henry parish in Marshalltown and St. Mary parish in Marshalltown

Father Andrew Awotwe-Mensah will be re-assigned as Pastor of St. John the Baptist parish in Mt. Vernon and St. Isidore parish in Springville, after serving as Associate Pastor at Holy Spirit parish in Dubuque

Father Jacob Rouse will be re-assigned as Pastor of Notre Dame parish in Cresco, after serving as Associate Pastor of Epiphany parish in Mason City

Pastor – Renewal of Tenure

Father Paul Baldwin will have his tenure extended for a second six-year term as Pastor of St. Luke parish in Hopkinton and Sacred Heart parish in Monticello

Father Raymond Burkle will have his tenure extended for a second six-year term as Pastor of Sacred Heart parish in Osage and Visitation parish in Stacyville

Father Rick Dagit will have his tenure extended as Pastor of St. Mary parish in Colo, St. Patrick parish in Nevada, St. Joseph parish in State Center, and St. Gabriel parish in Zearing, and Ss. Peter and Paul parish in Gilbert

Father Douglas Loecke will have his tenure extended one more year as Pastor of St. Matthias parish in Cascade, Sacred Heart parish in Fillmore, St. Patrick parish in Garryowen, and St. Peter parish in Temple Hill
